The Hideout at Geanna Island

The Hideout at Geanna Island is "famous" pirate community, it is the place where pirates are welcome and they always find a shelter there. It is no on main trade routes, well hidden and what is the most important guarded with corals so only those who are familiar with the way into the small bay are safe, all others are lying rotten on the beaches and coral reefs in the middle of their wrecks. This is the main reason the authorities are not able to conquer The Hideout, because the do not know the way in.

The Hideout is run by Jarred One Eye and pirates seeking shelter have to pay a "tax" to Jarred for protection in gold. It's worth the gold as all renegades are safe from the law enforcers here. There is a big cave complex on the island providing both room for storage and space for living. Jarred has about 70-80 men under his command, 2 tall ships and a few smaller ones, he is the most powerful player except the official authorities in this area.

Except of the pirates there are merchants, craftsmen and working women on the island, trying to get some gold from pirates in exchange for goods and services. The Hideout is a small community with may be 7-800 souls maximum.
